Beta 11: Evacuate
Get Out Of Dodge
You have only 10 minutes until the NEXUS missile hits the base. Therefore, select all of your units and load them aboard the Transport as quickly as possible. Once the transport is full, send it on its way and then load it again when it returns. To make matters worse, the Collective is attacking your base with VTOLs. Don't worry about them; just get your units out of the base. Be sure to bring along at least one truck to construct a forward base in the Gamma Sector.

Seems as though the collective also sends you loads of ground vehicles, and the transport takes 3 minutes. I cannot beat this!

I barely survived this one, here is my advice.
Plan ahead as your first transport will be the transport that hits the ground in Gamma 1. All the rest will be shipped in as you call them.
Build more attack units like crazy. Build defenses like crazy. Build build build and use up that energy! Ship off whatever you can and if you are nearing the end, just recycle the rest to finish the mission.
I managed to save 3 transports of random (poorly planned) units.
(also, if you spent some time beefing up your oil derricks with defenses, it should buy you some time from the northern land units)

Thanks for that one, that might help. I did not know that all your units had to be gone >.<

I didn't have to recycle all my units at the end to win the map. When counter hit zero I had one last unit (because I read this help and so recycled 3-4 units around 0:0:20) and still got to Gama sector.
I had good defences so I only
- build 10-15 Whirlwind AAs (I had a lot of AAs before, but only Hurricanes) around the base and
- build some Lancer Bunkers on the north and southeast way to base and
- constructed Lancers during attacks so Collective army wouldn't have it too easy.
With this I managed to pack 4 full transports and had main base nearly ("nearly" ;-D) untouched, 2 side bases and 2 camps completely untouched and one side base, one camp and my airport (it was located in the southeast corner) totally destroyed. I had 30 minutes for this mission and the transporter needed about 7 minutes for one fly. Enough of talking, see you in Gamma sector.

Actually, with version 2.3.8 (not sure of other version), no need to transport all 40 unit to gamma. No need to prepare defensive building, as it's possible to win this mission in less than a minute. At the end of beta10, recycle 8 of most experienced unit into what ever combat unit needed for initial landing on gamma1. Those 8 elite and 2 truck get transported first. Then recycle ALL other unit to 'win' beta11. Their 'soul' (=experience) will be carried over into new units built in gamma, though I'm not sure whether those soul will survive if you did a save-reload sin ;)
In gamma1, there will be 3 more transport coming after the first one that brings the elite team. The elite team should be enough to secure a little real estate and may be build passive walls (no turret, since it'll draw enemy's fire) at choke points while waiting for the other transports and resurrect/rebuild more experienced unit needed to win gamma1. Those 3 transport will bring more trucks and interesting tanks ;)
Just in case those experience doesn't carry over into gamma in other version, then it's preferable to accumulate/nurture experience points into a few super elite units, rather than spreading those experience point into a lot of mediocre units. I my game I manage to have 1 unit with above 1000 exp and 8 above 500 exp.

My advice: rely in pepperpots for close combat (lots of them in the expected entrance zones and arround the base), use several Ripple Rockets for long distance defense and even more Howitzer/ground shakers for middle distance defence. I would suggest 3 Howitzer/Ground Shakers per Ripple Rocket.
Position several lines of five units of AA (mainly Whirlwind) all along the terrain and asing your planes to a WTOL Strike Turret that should be almost in the center of your main base.
With this configuration, you'll be able to stop anything trying to enter your perimeter, while you don't have to hurry to select your best units for every flight.

So, if you load the transport and than push all the rest of your units into recycle mode. (to save all your heros and such. Move onto the next level save your game, but then realize that a truck did not get loaded onto the transport.....you have to start the game all over...

Actually Is not necessary to defend the base at all, just move ur units outside the base, in a safe place, and let their forces finish the base, then just wait for the transport and load them.
