I've never seen this turret, i have the Cyclone turret, but the picture is different, also i've never seen the VTOL Flak cannon, wich version is it in?

^ the Cyclone is the Flak cannon, and there isn't a VTOL variety. The only AA weapon VTOLs take is the Sunburst.
And, even though these guns are slow firing... the splash on them is SCARY. 3 of these and a flight of VTOL Bugs is GONE. A whole WING of them, not just one or two of them.

It'll take only 2 rounds from a fully-upgraded AA Flak Cannon to shoot down a single fully-upgraded Bug Bunker Buster VTOL, and 4 rounds to shoot down a single fully-upgraded Retaliation Bunker Buster VTOL. However, it'll take at least 11 rounds to shoot down a single fully-upgraded Retribution Plasmite Bomb VTOL, 16 rounds to shoot down a single fully-upgraded Dragon Bunker Buster x2 VTOL, and 21 rounds to shoot down a single fully-upgraded Dragon Rail Gun x2 VTOL.
As the anonymous poster above me said, their main strength lies in their large blast radius. However, due to their comparatively short range of 12 units, chances are that one or more VTOLs will fire their weapons before being shot down, though it'll require at least 2 shots from a fully-upgraded Bunker Buster or Plasmite Bomb to destroy a fully-upgraded AA Flak Cannon Emplacement.
Also, for the record, a single AA Flak Cannon Emplacement costs $300.

I find many times that even though they may not shoot down large VTOLs very quickly, my opponents only use small VTOLs to keep them cheap and fast. This allows the flak cannon to remain the staple of my air defense in almost all games where VTOLs become a major threat.
