Numerous those + wide spectrum sensor = Heavy Weapon

10-15 of these + fully upgraded sensor turret on a cobra hovercraft = enemy destruction from halfway across the map. TOTAL devastation.

Like Ripple Rockets, Archangel Missiles seem to be optimized for counter-battery work due to their high damage-per-salvo, and low rate-of-fire. A good strategy for using them (as well as Ripple Rockets) is to build mobile Archangel Tanks, and place each unit close to a counter-battery tower, but assigning it to another tower that's covering another Archangel Tank some distance away. That way, if any of your units that are within range of your counter-battery sensors come under fire from artillery (whether it's from attacking forces or enemy counter-battery fire), then your chain of Archangel Tanks would return fire one at a time (until either you have no more Archangel Tanks left that can readily fire, or enemy counter-battery fire stops), thus reducing the likelihood of overkill.
It looks like it'll take only 2 salvos from fully-upgraded Archangels to destroy an enemy's fully-upgraded Archangel battery, which costs $525. However, against tanks, they're far less effective, since they deal 40% damage towards tracked vehicles, and since heavy tracked vehicles in general have more HP than emplacements in general, while only costing slightly more power. A fully-upgraded Tiger Archangel Tracks, which costs about $660, can take around 19 salvos to destroy thanks to a combination of high HP and kinetic armor that's strong enough to bring Archangel damage below the 1/3rd damage mark. By comparison, a fully-upgraded Vengeance Archangel Tracks, which costs about $793, can take around 20 salvos to destroy, while a fully-upgraded Wyvern Archangel Tracks, which costs about $851, and a fully-upgraded Dragon Archangel x2 Tracks, which costs about $1410, can take around 24 salvos each to destroy.
If you would like to give your Archangel Tanks the most protection for your buck, then Tiger Archangel Tracks might just be the way to go in my opinion. While being less expensive to produce than more advanced heavy bodied Archangel Tanks, they are still quite good at surviving enemy counter-battery fire. The only significant downside, however, is that it's slower than the more advanced bodies. At most, expect to see it move at a speed of about 97 units, about 78% of a tracked unit's top speed.

Apparently, a fully-upgraded Ground Shaker can destroy a fully-upgraded Dragon Archangel x2 Tracks with 22 shots, which is 2 fewer shots than required from Archangel Missile salvos. I believe that this is due to the Ground Shaker's higher initial shot damage, which allows them to better penetrate thicker armor than Archangel Missiles. The fact that they also have a higher rate-of-fire (around 46% higher) than, cost $150 fewer than, and have a bigger blast radius than, Archangel Missiles also seems like a nice bonus over them, though their range is still lower (slightly less than 2/3rds of the Archangel's range).

Works well if you plant it as a turret very close to an enemy base. Of course, you need to send fire support to protect the truck while it's building.
