Great weapon with good longevity. I keep at least two mobile Assault Gun units with each commander for taking out cyborgs and providing some AA defense. Work well against structures also.

An overhaul of the Machinegun. It’s a big leap in range, damage, ROF, body points, and a satisfying firing sound! Upgrade the ROF enough, and it will look like rain coming out of the barrel, which is good for you, and bad for them.
This guy is good at one thing. Or well, a couple things; Pointing and shooting like a grunt, and taking down Cyborgs. It’s good against the more medium strength buildings, (factories, HQ, etc.) wheeled, and hovers as well. It’s not to be underestimated in large quantities, that many bullets firing hard and fast can hurt.
