Despite their mediocre range, these weapons are treated as an indirect-fire weapon for some odd reason. Might be somewhat useful for screwing with the AI for counterbattery fire, since CB towers paint the closest target first, but otherwise they're more trouble than they're worth.

Personally I love these. A horde of cheap MRAs will eat any soft targets in a base, with hit and run attacks. Since they're indirect, they don't count to a Commander's limit and are effective enough vs. Cyborgs.

During any rush attacks, I've often used them to destory base structures and trucks while my heavier vehicles distracted the defenses.

indirect gives them one advantage is that they can fire over smaller hills and on to cliffs.
