I love this weapon. While the plasmite bomb is very powerful, you only get one shot. With thermite bombs, you can inflict plenty of damage on enemy infantry (I always develop tank killer rockets so vehicles are never a problem), and fairly easily destroy hardpoints. It is excellent for providing air support for ground units thanks to their speed and quick rearming time. Plasmite bombers inflict a lot of damage and I always keep a number of them to inflict critical blows to my enemy, but thermite bombers are more applicable.
